Lola Mae Bowers, 74, of Downingtown, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Born November 28, 1942, in Kennett Square, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allen Thomas Brown and Cornelia Harris Brown.
A mother and homemaker, Lola was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also had a love of music and a fondness for electronics with her tablet being her favorite for gaming and entertainment.
She is survived by seven children, Michelle Styer of Downingtown, PA, Sonya Lindsey of Coatesville, PA (John), Nelson Bowers Jr. of New Castle, DE (Yvonne), Michael Bowers of Coatesville, PA (Dorothy), Dorinda Bowers of West Chester, PA, Carla Bowers of Downingtown, PA and Carmen Bowers of Columbia, MD; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her brothers, Thomas Allen Brown Jr. and James Brown preceded her in death.
